Jerry Biggs has spent more than six decades learning what makes leather work hard, wear well, and become more personal with time.
A maker first.
Jerry’s work has covered saddles, pool table pockets, briefcases, belts, custom gun accessories, tack and leather goods that do not fit neatly into a category. The constant is careful construction and a willingness to make the unusual piece a customer has in mind.
English bridle leather, alligator, kangaroo, shark, ostrich and stingray are among the materials he has worked with. Availability changes, which is part of why a conversation comes before the final piece.
Laser engraving now sits alongside the traditional bench work, opening room for initials, logos and personal designs without losing the hand-built character.
